The City of Tangent has been tracking COVID-19 cases using a five-day average since August 4, 2021. On August 4, City Hall was closed to the public except for utility payments, and public meetings were virtual.
As of Tuesday, November 9, we fell below 900 cases on a five-day average. So we are moving from our red category of 1,000+ cases a day to our orange category. This means the following changes:
- City Staff will wear a mask when interacting with the public
- Social Distancing
- Reduced Capacity for public meetings at City Hall
- Mask mandated per the State of Oregon (Click Here to view Mandate)
Since we are operating public meetings at reduced Capacity, we encourage people to attend primarily by Zoom. You may click here to install Zoom, which is free.
If you plan to attend a meeting, we ask that you please contact us in advance to keep track of how many are planning to attend and the capacity limit.
