City Hall COVID-19 Procedures

COVID-19 Update August 27, 2021

In accordance with the State of Oregon, Administrative Rule, masks are required for most public outdoor settings – regardless of vaccination status – when physical distancing is not possible.

Masks, face-covering, or face shields are required in all indoor spaces. Link to the State of Oregon Health Authority Administrative Ruling.

The City of Tangent closed City Hall for public gatherings and meetings on August 4, 2021. Masks are mandatory, and all meetings will be virtual effective immediately

Paying Utility Bills

If you do not have access to pay online, you may still ring the doorbell, and staff will accept cash or check payment. We will bring out to you the exact change and receipts.

City Council, Planning Commission, and Park Committee Meetings.

Zoom will be utilized for all meetings until we announce a change. Please e-mail the city manager at jsamaniego@cityoftangent.org to obtain login information for Zoom.

COVID-19 Case Numbers

We are following the numbers of COVID-19 cases published by the State of Oregon, Oregon Health Authority. We will be using the numbers and five-day average of cases to determine future steps in re-opening City Hall.
