Tangent Blood Drive at Fire Station

Posted on January 7, 2022January 7, 2022 By Joe Samaniego

On January 20, the Tangent Rural Fire Department will be holding a blood drive by appointment. You may schedule a time by clicking on the link here.

The most common type of donation, during which approximately a pint of ‘whole blood’ is given. This type of blood donation usually takes about an hour.

The Red Cross is experiencing the worst blood shortage in over a decade. The dangerously low blood supply levels have forced some hospitals to defer patients from major surgery, including organ transplants. Your donation is desperately needed this holiday season. Please schedule an appointment to give now.
