STREET CLOSURE SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 23, 2023

The Tangent Harvest Festival Parade will occur on Saturday, September 23, 2023, during the morning hours. The following streets will be closed:

  • D Street from 9:30 to 11:00 for Parade Staging
  • Old Mill Road 9:30 to 11:00 for Parade Staging
  • Birdfoot Drive from 9:45 to 11:00
  • Blackberry Lane from 9:45 to 11:00
  • Old Church Drive from 9:45 to 11:00
  • Old Oak Drive from Tangent City Hall, west to Blackberry, 9:45 to 11:00

Please plan accordingly if you have to leave between 9:30 to 11:00 from your residence. You may park overnight on Blackberry north of Birdfoot. 

Once the parade is over, we will be reopening streets in the following order:

  1.  Old Oak up to Old Church
  2. Old Church up to Birdfoot, and Birdfoot east of Old Church to Tangent Drive.
  3. Blackberry Lane up to Birdfoot, and Birdfoor east of Blackberry to Tangent Drive.
  4. Birdfoot west of Blackberry.
  5. Old Mill.

Please cooperate with Linn County Sheriff’s Deputies and volunteers with any instructions for traffic management.

Parade Route

 

Old Oak Detour

With Old Oak Dr. closed during the 9:00 to 11:00 hours, please proceed east down to Tangent Loop Drive to then head north to Highway 34, east or west on Tangent Dr.
